The Add-A-Quarter Plus Ruler, with its specially designed lip, automatically adds the customary 1/4″ seam allowance to any angle and provides a straight edge for your rotary cutter.
An absolutely indispensable tool for foundation paper piecing! The tapered edge is used as a straight edge for folding back the foundation.
Or use it to cut with templates for conventional or english paper piecing – just place the template on the fabric, layer the ruler lip side down snugly against the edge of template, and cut with a rotary cutter.
This ruler is also very helpful in hand-piecing: just place lip edge on the outside edge of the fabric piece and mark the seam line with a pencil.
